It was our first time shooting at St. Augustine Chapel on the Vanderbilt campus. What a cute A-frame church! This was a special wedding for us, not only because Kate is a dear friend of one of our past brides Cami, but this was a destination wedding for them! They came all the way from New Jersey to have their wedding here in our great town of Nashville
Both Kate and Ryan went to school at Vandy and what a beautiful campus it is for a wedding! The day was a perfect spring day with purple and green dotted all around. Kate was stunning in her wedding gown which was her mother’s dress! They altered the dress to fit Kate’s style and it suited her perfectly. Ryan looked so handsome and was one of our nicest grooms yet. Sometimes we don’t have a lot of time with the bride and groom alone, but they planned about an hour for us to shoot just them so it was great! We got to go all over the campus and even had time at the Hermitage Hotel. We snuck them down to the men’s room (it’s famous.. and clean… don’t worry… oh… insert Outkast music here) Then out to the balcony where we shot one of my favorite of all time images! <sigh> Overall this wedding was perfect, sweet, & lovely. Congratulations Kate and Ryan, we wish you all the best in life, love and happiness! xoxo
