Most people don’t know how Ann and I met, so we thought it was time we let ya know! We both went to Watkins College of Art and Design for fine art photography. We were in a class or 2 together but were more classmates than friends. Well one January morning about 7 years ago, a HUGE fluke snow storm came rolling into Nashville, TN. We had gone in for our 9 a.m. class (no snow yet… and hadn’t even been forecasted), and by 9:30 they were coming in telling us we had to go, school was cancelled, and it’s snow storming outside! “WHA??” So I left and it took me 2 HOURS to go about 500 ft!!! Out one entrance of Watkins… in the other
I hiked myself back inside Watkins only to find that the President of the school was telling us we couldn’t stay because he wanted to go home… yea… good luck with that! So I look over at Ann, say “you live in Franklin right? I live in Franklin… should we just go together so in case something happens we won’t be alone??” YES PLEASE! So here we go, 2 pretty much complete strangers, trusting that the other one will keep the other one safe! What should have been a 40 min drive home became an 8 hour TRECK home, and thus bloomed the friendship and now business partners that we are today awe!
