We did a little impromptu photo shoot with Walker Hayes today for The Boot Campaign  Not bad for just using the space around the office!! Check out both sites! Walker is an amazing country musician and The Boot Campaign is a GREAT cause! Head on over to listen to some music and buy a pair of boots for the troops!

Ann and I didn’t know it, but one late night we were BOTH watching Gone With The Wind and had the same thought…”She looks just like Beth!” Beth is a new friend of ours that we’ve really only known since the beginning of the year, but she has this way about her, that you just fall in love! So the next day Ann said to me “I was watching Gone With The Wind last night…” and I said “ME TOO!” well you can hear the rest of the convo when we said we both thought of Beth and we should do a shoot just for us, just for fun, GWTW inspired. After that, life happened and we kind of forgot about it. A few weeks later, we ran in to Beth and it came up. Beth FREAKED out and told us that her childhood bedroom was GWTW inspired and she always wanted to be Scarlett!! So she was totally in and the ball started slowly running. About another week went by and she said she had just heard that the Franklin Theatre was opening and the premier movie was… you guessed it! Gone With The Wind! Since Beth is in publicity, she had the great idea of doing it in time for the opening and getting it published in a Williamson County magazine. So that is just what we did! We scrambled around to find outfits, hair, makeup, local and busted it out! It is seriously one of our favorite shoots, and Beth totally rocked it out as miss Scarlett. I’m pretty sure she was born to play that part Southern Exposure Magazine ran the piece and it’s out now so make sure you go and get a copy! And if you run into Beth on the streets make sure you tell her “Well Fiddle Dee Dee!”

October 30, 2010 we were so honored to be photographing this beautiful Southall Eden wedding of Tessa and Chase. Yesterday, we were honored with being featured on the elite wedding blog Style Me Pretty for this wedding! So in case you missed it or just wanted to see even more great pics… here you go! Their wedding planner, CJ Dickson with Williamson County Weddings & Events wrote some sweet words about their day, and we couldn’t have said it better! This wedding was so much fun and we are thrilled to finally be able to share it!

“As a wedding planner, I am blessed to witness many couples exchange vows on their wedding day. But I rarely get to see the proposal. Surprisingly, I was introduced to Tessa and Chase through a dramatic proposal video a friend sent me. It showed one of Rihanna’s dancers bringing his girlfriend on stage during a set break for a surprise proposal in front of thousands of screaming fans. Now that is a story to share with your grandkids! Little did I know that only a few days later I would meet the happy couple in person and we would begin a whirlwind race to craft their romantic country wedding together in their hometown of Franklin, TN. The couple had a short window of time between tour dates to get married and we wasted no time selecting a natural color palette with tons of rustic, vintage details that perfectly accented the couple’s style.

On a beautiful October afternoon, the couple was married on a hill overlooking the rolling Tennessee country side. Guests were seated on hay bales and warmed by the setting sun as Tessa and Chase became husband and wife. Wildflowers, lace and burlap were used to provide a soft but rustic look for the reception. Vintage books added color and texture and silver mercury glass gave a soft candlelit glow to the tabletops while string lights illuminated the dance floor. There was a bit of a chill in the air that night, but the guests never noticed as DJ Kevin Perryman kept the dance floor packed all night. The evening concluded with a grand exit as guests lined the path with sparklers and cheered on the happy couple.”

We are so excited! Friday we leave for Negril, Jamaica to photograph the wedding of Kristy & Ben! Ben is the brother to one of our past grooms (hey George Robert!), and Kristy is a friend of one of our past brides (hey Lindsay!), so we have a great connection with this couple. The wedding will consist of about 12 people total so it’s going to be so nice and laid back, and SO PRETTY! We cannot wait to shoot the wedding and show you some amazing images. Kristy & Ben are some of the nicest people we know and we couldn’t be more thrilled that they chose US to come with them and photograph their special day. They could have just used the resorts on staff photographer,  but we are glad they didn’t! Stay tuned for their wedding images

Back in the fall we had the most fun opportunity to photograph for the Marsha Blackburn campaign. One night we did a meet and greet with Trace Adkins, and another night with John Rich. They both then performed and it was awesome! It was so fun to meet everyone and be a part of the “Marsha, Marsha, Marsha!” events Check it
