Danielle + Read Married: Brentwood United Methodist & Brentwood Country Club {Nashville, TN Wedding Photography}

August 7th started at a really HOT day! We kept telling Danielle how glad we were that she was having a full indoor wedding and reception Brentwood United Methodists is an absolutely gorgeous church with beautiful stained glass surrounding the sanctuary. It was another first time shooting there…well, at least a wedding Danielle looked like she did on her bridal portrait day…STUNNING!! Read (who we never met before) didn’t like his photos taken, actually it must have been a family thing…the rest of his family All joking aside, Read did great and was a very handsome groom!! After the ceremony, we all made our way to the Brentwood Country Club for the big party!! Danielle’s dad was kind enough to remind me that in our contract there was supposed to be some dance moves made on our end Don’t worry Ray, I was shaking it as I was working! Everyone was having a blast dancing and laughing…what a great way to remember an evening Congrats to Danielle and Read…we love our clients! I would also like to give a shout out to Jonathon Campbell who helped with his photography expertise…THANK YOU

Nichole & Pete Married: Cheekwood & Aerial {Nashville, TN Wedding Photographers}

Since the end of last year we couldn’t make July 3 come around soon enough! Cheekwood + Ariel = Gonna Love the Pictures! From the time I met the great couple…(Jen was in England)…to the time we all met up at Kalamatas for dinner…WE LOVED NICHOLE and PETE! Listening to their stories were amazingly cute…how they met (how Pete ignored Nichole when she dropped her papers (I think I remember that right)…hahaha!) to how they have to arrange life around their sports teams! My favorite memory of Pete though is when he was waiting for his bride to arrive and we started talking about how beautiful she was going to be (as if we didn’t already know that)…he just kept talking about her in the sweetest possible way! Now, I can’t remember exactly what was said but I do know it made my heart melt I always thought of Pete as a serious, intimidating guy (I am sure that is what he really wants you to think!) but really he showed me he is only a softy underneath it all (sorry to bust your cover)! Then you have the stunning bride, Nichole. She was so laid back given the extreme heat and had a smile the entire time…especially when she saw her groom! The way these two looked at each other was amazing…we didn’t have to tell them hardly anything because they were so lost in their own moments of happiness! I know I may begin to sound a little cheesy but it is true The day was perfect! The ceremony took place at Cheekwood in the Wills garden and the reception was rocking downtown Nashville at Ariel (which was our first time shooting there and loved it). We had so much fun with you guys through out the whole process…I truly believe we have found new friends! Kalamatas anyone?!?! Congrats to you both and thank you for an amazing 3rd of July wedding (with fireworks)! ENJOY!

Abbe & Chase Married: Scarritt Bennett + Macke’s {Nashville, TN Wedding Photography}

Abbe & Chase come from a repeat family of ours. We shot her sister Catilin’s wedding a few years ago and while we love the fact that their family fell in love with US, we are more thrilled that WE fell in love with THEM! The Andrew’s family has been so great and nice to us over the years and we are thrilled to add the Webber’s to our Photographix family The wedding day started out amazing with perfect sunny weather at Scarritt Bennett. We were having major deja vu since that is where Caitlin got married. All the same people back in the same room with the same emotions… so much fun! Abbe looked beautiful in her White Room dress! We started with the girls outside then went on to Chase’s side. Chase is so handsome and opted to where his glasses for the wedding day (we were all rooting for this decision… there’s something about a cute boy in glasses… ah ) Anyway! The boys all looked handsome and were a ton of fun to work with. I love the photos Ann captured of Abbe and her dad right before they were coming into the church… the lighting was to die for, and the way they are looking at each other just melts your heart. The ceremony was beautiful. My favorite part was the kiss… I think Chase was a little embarrassed to give Abbe a good kiss (his dad married them and was standing right there after all!). So he gave her a little peck… everyone started laughing and Abbe was not going to take just a peck, so she grabbed his face and planted a big one on him! Loved it The reception was at Macke’s in Green Hills. Everyone had a blast eating, dancing and conversing. The wedding day ended with little sister Hannah catching the bouquet! Can’t wait for wedding #3 with the Andrews clan!! Love you guys! xoxo

Shawn & Brian Married: Brentwood Baptist & Maggiano’s {Nashville, TN Wedding Photography}

We had so much fun with Shawn and Brian! Their wedding was small… 25-30 people. We love love love small weddings because we get to know everybody! There’s something so intimate about that They had an absolutely beautiful sunny day. We had never shot at Brentwood Baptist before, so shooting in their little chapel was a treat. It is so cute! We started out with Brian and his best man and 2 children. His son was so funny, he was acting all shy when I’m pretty sure he’s not really Brian’s daughter is beautiful and very photogenic… she get’s that from her dad… he didn’t take a bad picture all day! Shawn looked gorgeous in her wedding gown! She has that Panteen hair that I’m always jealous of. The reception was at the oh so yummy Maggiano’s in Nashville. Everyone ate family style, it was so nice. Then they spoiled us… after our time was over, they had us escorted up to the main dining room and we had our own meal, anything we wanted! It was the perfect way to end a wedding day Thank you so much guys, we had a wonderful time and love how your photos turned out! xoxo Jen & Ann

Amanda & Mike Married: Nashville Korean United Methodist Church {Nashville, TN Wedding Photography}

May 1st, 2010… flood. Wow, what a day! Ann and I started this wedding day like any other wedding day. Rain… well that sucks but hey! We have lights and we’ll be all good I was having lunch with my husband in Cool Springs and all of the sudden the tornado sirens start going off… oh this is lovely. Ann calls and says “let’s go ahead and meet at the church so we are there and ready to go”. I leave and head towards the church only to get a frantic call about 15 mins later from Ann going a little something like this: “um… yea… so we are stuck here at American Signature… the water is waist deep and we can’t go anywhere… the cops have everything blocked off… I don’t think I’m going to make it to the wedding… Me: “…….breath……. Ok… you can handle this, you’ve done weddings on your own before… no problem! oh sh**, Ann has the lights!!” Oh… dear… Luckily, the church was amazing and had the best lighting, so yours truly didn’t NEED lights! Thank you Jesus! Needless to say, Amanda and Mike were a little frazzled that day. The wedding started 45 mins late, a groomsmen from out of town was caught in the flood (he made it half way through the ceremony and hopped on stage ) , oh and did I mention it was POURING and FLOODING outside?? Luckily, even though I may have been a little frazzled myself inside, I hide it very well, and was able to keep everyone calm Once things got started everything went without a hitch! The day couldn’t have gone any better with everything that was going on outside. After the ceremony I got a call from Ann… she had made it out of American Signature safely and was at the reception site! YAY! I had my partner back!! The reception was at Journey in the Factory at Franklin… now it’s my turn to get stuck I left before the limo did. I was making my way down Franklin Rd and of course it was closed off at MacHatcher… so I went down Hillsboro rd… closed at Del Rio… hmmm… “Mrs. Officer lady… is there any way I can get to the factory for a wedding??” Mrs. Officer lady “is the wedding still on??” Uh yea.. yes it is So I’m on the phone with the limo people the whole time saying “you can’t go this way.. let me check this.. oh… nope… you can’t go that way either!!” We finally made it down Liberty pike about 2 hours late The reception was great! Everyone was having a blast and you never would have known all the chaos that went on earlier in the day. Amanda looked absolutely beautiful in her gown from Faccio and Mike made one handsome groom! They were so happy together, dancing, laughing, signing… it really was a great wedding. Unfortunately we weren’t able to get our beloved outside photos so we are going to do a couple’s session with them next week. I can’t wait to see them again and let Ann have her much needed bride and groom time!! xo

Erin & George Robert Married: Covington, TN {Covington, TN wedding photography}

April 24th was a rainy morning…actually so bad that Jen and I would never have dreamed that we would have the opportunity to shoot outside for Erin & GR’s wedding. Well…we were so wrong! When we woke up from our nap, Covington, TN was not the same place! Bright blue skies, sunny, warm…Aaah! This small little town was so adorable and when we pulled up to the church our mouths dropped and we got super excited There in front of us stood a perfect little white church, Mt. Carmel Presbyterian…the same one that a scene from Walk the Line was filmed! Ok, enough about that…lets move on to the happy couple. Erin had a stunning dress from The Bride Room, and rocking multi-colored paisley shoes from JCrew. George Robert (aka “Grrrrrrrrr” ) was handsome as always. He may hate having his picture made, and at times a little shy, but we think he’s the cutest and they make fabulous photos together The ceremony welcomed many guest however you still felt like it was a very small and intimate wedding due to the one room church. Once the ceremony ended, we got almost an hour with the newly married couple…which is normally rare! They were SO cute together! The reception at the Chamber Center on the Square was rocking when we arrived…with a 7 piece band (I think…maybe more) that had everyone moving and shaking. Erin and GR’s wedding turned out absolutely fabulous! It was a new adventure for Jen and I in Covington and we want to thank you both for letting us be there for your special day…Congratulations! xoxo

Jenn & Jason Married: CJ’s off the Square, Franklin TN {Franklin, TN Wedding Photography}

What a delight it was to shoot at the new and improved CJ’s off the Square! We have shot there more times than we can count, but this was the first time after it had been revamped and it was GREAT! Jenn and Jason were so awesome to work with. It was a little steamy that day, but that didn’t matter to them! The more pictures the better! We had fun shooting in the gardens and then making our way around the streets of downtown Franklin Jenn looked beautiful in her White Room gown and Jason (very handsome), had the kind of sense of humor that kept us laughing all day. Their flowers were done by the amazing Caprice of Enchanted Florist. The colors were purple and amazing (yes, “amazing” is a color… not really…ha!) The boys all changed into their black and white Converse’s for the reception so we had a lot of fun with that! We wish they would have taken us to the Bahamas with them!! Maybe next time… Congratulations you two!! xo

Tori & James Married: Rosemary Beach, FL {Nashville, TN Wedding Photography}

Where do I begin? Tori and James… are deeply… madly … over the moon… in love! And WE got to capture it I can’t stress to you enough how every time I look at these pictures my heart melts. I’m not sure what it is about this year, but so far all of our grooms have looked at their brides like they are seriously in a dream and they just can’t believe how beautiful she is. It’s like a fairy tale! Tori and James got married in the Rosemary Beach Town Hall in Florida. The setting was perfectly perfect and couldn’t have fit them better. Christina Gshwandtner of Fete Weddings & Events, designed the whole event and it was beautiful! The weather couldn’t have been more perfect, and the town of Rosemary is just adorable! We could have spent the whole weekend photographing them. Every nook and corner was different, it was really hard to choose just a few spots! The ceremony was small with only about 6o people in attendance. Most came from Franklin, but some as far as New York as well. We loved meeting everyone, they were all so nice and inviting Thank you thank you Tori and James for picking us to photograph your day! We LOVE your photos, we LOVE your families, and we LOVE you guys! xoxo

Kate & Ryan Married: St. Augustine Chapel & Hermitage Hotel {Nashville, TN Wedding Photography}

It was our first time shooting at St. Augustine Chapel on the Vanderbilt campus. What a cute A-frame church! This was a special wedding for us, not only because Kate is a dear friend of one of our past brides Cami, but this was a destination wedding for them! They came all the way from New Jersey to have their wedding here in our great town of Nashville Both Kate and Ryan went to school at Vandy and what a beautiful campus it is for a wedding! The day was a perfect spring day with purple and green dotted all around. Kate was stunning in her wedding gown which was her mother’s dress! They altered the dress to fit Kate’s style and it suited her perfectly. Ryan looked so handsome and was one of our nicest grooms yet. Sometimes we don’t have a lot of time with the bride and groom alone, but they planned about an hour for us to shoot just them so it was great! We got to go all over the campus and even had time at the Hermitage Hotel. We snuck them down to the men’s room (it’s famous.. and clean… don’t worry… oh… insert Outkast music here) Then out to the balcony where we shot one of my favorite of all time images! Overall this wedding was perfect, sweet, & lovely. Congratulations Kate and Ryan, we wish you all the best in life, love and happiness! xoxo

Emily & Joey Married: Evansville, IN {Evansville, IN Wedding Photography}

We had such a blast with Emily and Joey in Evansville, IN! They kicked off our first wedding of the season and it was a perfect day! The weather was fabulous, Emily was stunning, Joey was handsome, and the bridal party kept us laughing all day long! Can I just say how nice people are in Indiana? I don’t know what it is, but every time we go up there for a wedding, the people are SO NICE! Nice people really make our job easy and enjoyable So thanks to everyone that attended the wedding for being so great to work with! We truly had a fun time

The day started out perfect with 70 degree weather at the Neu Chapel on University of Evansville’s campus. It seriously was one of the prettiest days we’ve had. We started with Emily and her girls who were all beautiful in their dresses made by Vera Wang. When the boys got there, Emily and Joey met for the first time So sweet The way Joey looks at Emily makes your heart melt! After we did some bridal party pics, it was the boys turn to get a little silly… and boy did they ever! I’m not actually sure we got one serious photo of any of them, but they are some of my favorites The ceremony was beautiful! The tall ceilings with the red wall made for some amazing photos. After that came the family photos. We LOVE the families! I am a little biased towards Joey’s side since he is the brother of my best friend for the last 20 years The Hahn’s are like my second parents BUT, Emily’s side was just as great Everyone made our job so easy and we had a great time. The reception was at Kirby’s and went exceptionally smooth. Everyone danced, laughed, and had an overall great time. If this wedding is a glimpse of what’s to come this wedding season, it’s going to be a FUN season!
