Education and experience: We both graduated from Watkins College of Art and Design with BFAs in Photography. It taught us both the creative and the classic aspects of photography. We have have been business partners since 2005. You can learn more about our story here.
Equipment: We shoot on Canon cameras. We currently own four cameras with multiple lenses for various looks. We are 100% natural light photographers giving you that light, airy, romantic look.

Cancellation and reschedule policy: Contact us right away, and we will reschedule you. Your non-refundable initial payment of $75.00 will still count toward your balance if you reschedule within 90 days. If you reschedule after 90 days, an additional $75.00 payment will be required.
Payment method: We take check or credit card. Please note that credit card charges over a certain amount have a 3.5% convenience charge.

What is your engagement photography style? Soft, classic, and full of natural light. We know that most couples use their engagement session to get to know us before we shoot their Big Day, and use the photos for wedding announcements, save-the-dates, etc. We want to capture that spark between you that says “this is the start of something really good.”
What does our session include? Sessions start at one hour, with one outfit change. Our typical engagement session is shot outdoors during the “Golden Hour,” about 1.5 hours prior to sunset when the sunlight is at its best. More time and outfit changes can be added a la carte.
How do we choose a location? We have several favorite spots in the Nashville/Franklin area to choose from, but we’re happy to shoot in new locations as well. Additional travel fees may apply (if outside the Nashville/Franklin area) so if that applies to you, let us know and we will provide a custom quote. All sessions are shot at one location.
What is your boudoir photography style? Soft, classic, romantic, and light. We love to capture our clients as their sexiest and most comfortable selves.
Who will be my photographer? Jen Cook and Ann Carroll. We typically tag team throughout your shoot. One of us will be photographing and coaching you, while the other will be primping, fanning, and making sure you look your absolute best. We tend to switch back and forth so you get the best from both of us. We coach you through the entire session so that your poses look and feel natural and relaxed. Be prepared to laugh at Jen’s dumb jokes!
Do you have a studio or do you come to me? We have a studio located in the town center of Westhaven, just 3 miles west of downtown Franklin. We don’t typically leave our studio for this kind of shoot, but can for an additional fee.
What does my session include? Sessions start with one hour and two outfit changes. Extra outfits, books, discs, and more can be added on a la carte.
Do you have hair and makeup available? We are located right above our favorite salon, Artistry SpaSalon, and they style about 90% of our clients. They know what kind of shoots we are doing, so they are excellent at giving you just the right look.
Do you work with plus size women? Absolutely! We work with all sizes and ages and only put you in poses that flatter YOU! Not all poses flatter every body type, so our job is to work with what you’ve got, accentuating all your best assets.
Do you retouch my photos? We shoot in a flattering light so that retouching is minimal. We remove any imperfections you don’t want shown (under eye circles, blemishes, veins, etc.) and soften skin. However, what we don’t do is distort your natural figure by making you thinner than you are, enlarging your boobs, etc. We want you to love the real you, not a fake Barbie-doll version of yourself!
Can I bring a friend? You can bring a friend for moral support, but females only, please. It is also important to the quality of the shoot that you feel comfortable posing in front of whoever you bring; awkwardness will come across in your photos and make our job (and yours) more difficult. Several of our boudoir clients have scheduled a double-shoot with a friend, so that they can take turns and offer each other support and encouragement. It always makes for a fun girly day!
Are my pictures private? YES! We never use your images without your consent. All of the girls you see on our site, blog, and social media, have given us permission to use their images. Though we would love to show off our work for every session, we realize the nature of this type of photograph is personal, so it is completely up to you.
