29 Dec TN Fall Mountain Wedding {Nashville, TN Wedding Photographers}

There are WAY too many photos in this blog post, but we just could not help it!! Amy is one of our oldest and dearest friends, and we had the honor of designing and capturing her TN fall mountain wedding! We of course went overboard and set up a wedding that could have hosted 50 people when we had 10, but WHAT do you expect when you get 2 wedding photographers who love details and get the rare chance to play involved?? Not to mention our amazing friends over at Southern Events who donated all the tables, chairs, dishes and cutlery to round out all the delicious vintage items that Amy had in her basement. We were seriously in Heaven when we went down there and saw all the goodies we could grab from. The items made the setting that much more personal with things from her family, Grandparents, childhood and goods found through her travels. Amy and Michael’s home is literally set on top of the most beautiful mountain in Ashland City, TN. The house looks like a log cabin and has all the quaint details you’d expect. We wanted plenty of light for Amy’s getting ready photos, so we took her childhood vanity out in the backyard for the most gorgeous backdrop for getting ready photos we have ever had! Beautiful orange and yellow fall leaves in the background, and a warm bonfire beside us to keep her toasty. Everything about this wedding turned out perfectly. I could go on and on but the pictures pretty much speak for themselves. Thank you to everyone involved for making this day possible for Amy and Michael. It was a day none of us will ever forget. xoxo

“Michael and I just have to step outside to see the lights still hanging to remember the memorable evening and night we had for our beautiful fall wedding.  We actually still dance under them when we on occasion have some alone time, lol.  Michael and I knew from the beginning that we just wanted a small wedding filled with things from our families past surrounding us.  Our family history is something that is so important to us both, something that we want to pass down to each of our children.  We surrounded ourselves with such beautiful colors, such rich history handed down to us from our grandparents to handmade quilts given to us by our great grandparents, hand picked pieces decorated the tables from around the world.  I know you probably read this in every blog, but truly we could have never done this without the love and friendship of some very special people.  I wouldn’t even say friendship at this point, this is pure family and pure love, and that is what we wanted our wedding to be about.  Jen, Ann, Sissi, Lucas, Pastor Nathan and our children, thank you, we love you.” – Amy
